With the end of 1 fast approaching, it is sometimes good to look over the credits and debits of accomplishments. There were disappointments during the year, but on the whole, it was a good yeai of achievements for the City Commission, business groups and the citizens.On the plus side, you have to note the CityHall remodeling with a new front was long overdue. The new fire truck added a more secure feeling for residents, both accomplished early in the year. A new Human Relations Board was formed with the first assignment to study racial inequalities in job opportunities.The citizenry rallied and passed a bond issue for a new hospital. Although many cuts will have to be made it should be a reality bvw wmid-1971 The Chamber of Commerce was reorganized to become an eflective and important organization within the community.Other attainments during the year on the plus side would have to include the saving ot the Osage Hotel, paving of W. Kansas Ave., new navigational equipment at Strother field. Chiloeco Indian School to remain open and the incorporation of Arkalalah. The community
