Having served as a public school administrator for 1G years, he was former superintendent of schools at Alpine, Cuero, and Kermit, serving as professor of Biology and Education atAlpine; was chairman of the Brewster ( ounty Board of Ld-ucation and director of the summer normal for Sul Ross C ollege. He was on the summer faculty at Texas Tech while superinb ndent at ('uero.
