NEW SONG PUBLISHED: Roy Wilkins, executive director of the NAACP, accepts his copy of the score and words for 'Two Songs of Freedom from former Jamaica, N.Y. branch president, Miss Florence V. Lucas (left), who wrote the text, and Jamoica branch member is Arlein Ford Straw, who composed the music. The NAACP has sent copies of the songs to400 of its key branches suggesting that it be incorporated in Negro History and Brotherhood Week programs which run from Feb. 11-17 and from Feb. 18-24, 1968, respectively.
