On Christmas night a crowd of young people gathered at the home of D. C. Brooks on the Beeson farm South of town and spent a very ploas-ant evening The past times were games and mnsie, ami refreshments consisting of oranges, bananas, popcorn and milk (for some, but cream for of hots) were served. One couple was informed that there was a crock of good thick cream near by, so they treated the rest to all the milk they wanted and after getting rid of the crowd they sought the real thing and did ample justice to about a quart of good country cream. At a late hour all dispersed declaring they would always remember Christmas of lā,)08.
