Stephens, and Mr. Abner Jackson, Mr. Foster Hale and Miss Sossaman, b.tss Julia Lake and Mr. Henry Hamilton, were the bright company which assembled upon the invitation of Mr. and Mrs. Charles CunDingham, to meet around the festive board of their lovely home on Georgia avenue last evening. The charming affair was arranged in compliment to Mr. Ross I Lynn Malone, of New Mexico. The j table was fragrant and festive with j red carnations, candeiebra with tapers i in the Christmas colors, and bright I ribbons to give the finishing touch.J«i An elegant menu in eight courses was ; served, carnation cases being effectively used in many cf the pretty courses.
