ChristmasionAt the Frhnk Patanias for 200Mr, and Mrs. Prank Palanla, bo*fore leaving early in the morning to spend several months in Tucson, are entertaining about 200 guests at a reception from 7 to 9 o’clock tonight at iheir home on Coronado road TTfree sisters of the hostess are to /ssist her, Miss Dell Masocco of sin Francisco, Calif., who has beep nere this week and leaves in the meaning to return to her home; Mrs, vr. L. Graves of Pecos, and Miss Mi -randy Masocco who 1ms juat returned from Tucson.A Christmas party at the Patanias is an annual affair and their decorations this year are more beautiful than those of previous years. Large wreaths are on either side of the fireplace and in it is the nativity scene with small figures telling the Christmas story. A large lighted Christmas tree is set in the dining room showing through the arch to the living room. The dining room table will be decorated with red roses and holly.Mrs. Patania will wear a gown of navy blue chiffon with red accessories. Miss Dell Masocco’s gown is an original Vionnet model of purple silk jersey, closely fitted with square neck and narrow shoulder straps. In her hair she will wear violets. Miss Mirandy Masocco is werning a moire taffeta of deep orchid, and Mrs. Graves green crepe with gold accessories.
