Wed., Dec. 24, 1969The Newg.Heralrl23Neu/to Open in Willoughby ; - illsFred Kune and Vince Di-Vincenzo, owner-managers of Fred Vincent Volkswagen Inc., recently conducted a groundbreaking ceremonyto commence constructionof their new Volkswagen facility in Willoughby Hills.The new dealership wKl be located at 28400 Chardon Rd, at Bishop and will serve several communities of eastern Cleveland, and it becomes the seventh authorized Volkswagen dealership in the greater Cleveland area.The building will provide for the service and sales ofVolkswagens and will include a service and parts area of 10,000 square feet, which will employ 10 work stalls and special diagnosis equipment.The grounds will also include a used-car lot with sales facilities for domestic and imported used vehicles as well as off-street customer parking.ATTENDING the groundbreaking are. left to right, Mr and Mrs. Kune; Mr. and Mrs, DiVincenzo; Robert Fergus, president;Larry Towne, dealer development manager, and Richard Ruhl, vice president forsalt s of Midwestern VWCorp.
