Compau^.This morning at 10 o’clock the famous Robinson Amusement Company will give a parade on tlio main streets of the city. This will be the formal opening Of the W. H. T. Walker Camp tr. CJ. V. benefit, which will he held at the' old circus grounds on Jackson street.The show will be in operation for the next two weeks and is „ being held Sot a worthy cause.The camp after mature deliberation decided to engage.the services,of the Robinson company to furnish the attractions, being assured from other cities where the company has played that they do exactly as they say they will do, and carrying with them the greatest drawing free attraction ever* brought before the gaze of the public.^Mr. Dan R. Robinson is one of tlje* famous show family of that name which is known from the Atlantic to the Pacific. and He has congregated some of the very best artists in th«f country gnd will have nothing but what is clean, pleasing and Instructive,The free attractions, among which is Kearney P. Speedy, the premier high diver of the world, who makes a headforemost dive from a pedestal tower 90 feet in the air into a tank containing but four feet of water, and Mile. Orrocoo. who ascends and descends a spiral tower while encased in a twenty-eight Inch metallic globe, are some of the marvelous exhibitions which can be seen fjep daily.The company also have witb^hwn a magnificent uniformed military band, which gives concerts continuously.
