A big time is in stove for the members of the local lodge of Elks iiul their friends, when Ladies’ '.tight, will.be celebrated on New Year’s eve in the Elks’ home. The ■ommittee lias arranged a pleasing entertainment programme, refreshments will be served and dancing will be enjoyed until the new year has been ushered in with the usual* spirit of good fellowship that abends all functions given by the ■ilks. The committee has received mrmission from Che lodge to niaite lie event an “open night’’ and each iiember will be given an invitation vhich will admit a non member and ady. Ford’s orchestra will furnish he music and the evening’s festivl-ies will start at 8: BO o’clock.
