At one elementary school, which has had a rash of chicken pox adding to the flu season, the principal felt it would be impossible to ever get cleer statistics for Thursday, However, a pattern seemed to run throughout the city schools — both public and parochial—and the .attendance dip was quite evident in schools served by buses.Half MissingWhen about 50 per cent of the students, who come from throughout the Fox Valley by bus, were absent at Fox Valley Lutheran High School, officials dosed the school for the day.
