Ricky and Miss* Craig have distributed small.* handmade felt boots stuffed with a* candy cane treat to the elderly This year, however, Ricky decided to buy bookmarks with his own money because of the increased numtxv ofvisits he wanted to make Miss Craig first suspected her young nephew had a special affinity for the elderly when she lost him on one of their first downtown shopping trips four years ago I just turned around and he was gone. she recalled I looked up and down and all over the place ” Finally she found him — leading an elderly blind man in and out of Stores onOhio Street.“He wanted an orange shirt for hisgirlfriend. Ricky said But when I noticed him, he was walking down an alley, tapping his cane against a wall He had gotten lost, so I just helped him out Ricky visits his father, Richard Craig, in Kansas City regularly on weekends. But because his father had been single for several years before recently remarrying, Ricky has continued to live during the school year with Miss Craig and her mother.
