Andy Williams gathers his en tire family—wife, children, par enfcs, brothers, sister, nieces nephews and brother-in-law —for an hcur of holiday music and laughter on his Christmas season colorcast Saturday, Dec, 20 (7:30 8:30 p.m. NYT), on the NBC Television Network’s “Andy Williams Show.”Joining the Williams family for the evening of festivities will be the Osmond Brothers — and the cookie-begging bear.Andy’s solos include “A Winter’s Dream,” “White Christmas” and “Oh, Holy Night.” He teams with his wife, Clau-dine Longet, for “Silent Night,” then joins his three brothers (D i c k, Don and Bob) for “Christmas Song” and “Happy Holiday.”The Osmond Brothers sing a medley of “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Joy to the World,” “Deck the Halls,” and then blend their voices with the Williams Brothers for “Jingle Bells.”Claudine solos “Thank You, Baby” to her infant son Robert, then joins the entire family for “Let’s Waltz ’Round the Christmas Tree” and “Most Wonderful Time.”The Ghost of Christmas Conscience frightens a sleeping Andy into giving the bear a cookie—but fate intervenes before he can do it.
