MID-DLEr-An -operetta given by the elemehtary elasses^find Chnst-mas program will be held on Thursday night, Dee. 19 at the Lackesideschool in Middle.Several of here attended the funeral of Mrs. Lisette Rohrer, 100, at Amana on Saturday noon and also of Mrs. John Miller, 83, at West Amana on Sunday noon.Mrs. Susana Trumpold received word that her grandson, George Moessner, 42, of St. Paul, Minn., passed away after a short illness. He lived here in his early child* hood for several years.A shower in honor of Mrs. ivicn-ird Trumpold of Cedar Rapids was Civen by Mrs. Carl Graesser, Mrs. Icnry Trumpold, Mrs. Clifford Trumpold and Mrs. John Trumpold it the parental Rudolph Trumpold lome on Sunday afternoon.Wishing all the readers of this paper a Merry Christmas and aHappy New Year.
