School QuartettexEntertains UonsBiloxi Lions Club enjoyed a Christmas program arranged by i N. E. Simpson, program chairman, at Wednesday's meeting at the lt;• White House Hotel. ,1 There was an exchange of gifts which were then given to the doll jand toy fund and Dewey Lawrence led in the singing of a Chrstmas i carol. Frank B. Kennedy enter- t tained with a selection, Jingle *Bells, on a toy xylophone. ■The Biloxi High school quartette, Alma Hodge, second soprano, Chloe Guice, first soprano, Barbara Lunday, first alto and Alma Thornton, second alto with Lucille Gaines, music director, at the piano sang three novelty numbers, Old King Cole, Italian Street Song and The Argument.Emery Sadler reported on the Red Cross program to aid veterans and the club is cooperating in its activities.Dr. D. L. Hollis and Vaster Wentzell spoke on the New Year’s eve ball. Austin H. Moritz, Biloxi, was a guest.No meeting will be held next week and the next meeting will be Thursday, Jan, 2.MSBIilTMAA »«lt;
