IS.—The committee sponsoring the community i Christmas festivities here have asked that the business houses and as many private homes as can, participate iathe contest this year for the bestdecorated windows or homes. Lart year a number entered into this con-test. The large tree which was placed in front of the postoffice has the colored lights on it, with a large star jat the top that can be seen for somedistance, and small trees were placed in front of each business house Saturday afternoon, being furnished by the boy scouts. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated home or store window. The comm.l-tee in charge is Mrs. Nellie Wilson, Mrs. Flora Essex and Mrs. John Edmunds.
