Mr. arid Mr?, imna.The Ladies Aid Society of the First Christian Church met with Sirs. j[Ura Embry on Monday afternoon. The meeting was led by Sirs. Futlon, who opened with scripture reading, followed by prayer by Mrs. Kersch-, ner. The committee who held the j bazaar at Barrier’s store last Satur-j day reported a neat sum realized, and want to thank all who patronized them. The Society expected to have had an election of officers at this meeting, but on account of the absence of both President and Vice-| President, this, was postponed until next meeting, which will be with Mrs. L. I. Rouse on next Monday af- j ternoon at 3.o’clock. After discussing different lines of work and hav-inv no fuxther business the meeting was dismissed by all repeating together the Lord’s prayer. Mrs. Embry then served delicious refreshments of sandwiches, marshmallow dainties, cakes and hot chocolate.J\
