sheooord senotorDecember 16,1982Page 13tInternational students and their guests were treated to Christmas music by the Rider High School A Capella Choir Dec. 9 in the officers’ club.After several traditional carols by the choir, led by Don Cowan, children from the audience were invited to join in several more songs. The program concluded with a rendition of “The Little DrummerBoy.”Inge Langebeck, daughter of Lt. Col. and Mrs.Wagn Langebeck, senior national representative from Denmark, drew tickets for winners of the choir’s Christmas album.The choir then sang “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” and received a standing ovation from the international students and guests.A buffet and get-acquainted session followed the music. Many of the students and choir members gathered around the piano for some impromptu singing.The Rider 85-member choir has an international reputation having performed in Mexico and Canada.
