Debbie winspoemA poem written by Debbie Organ, a nursing student at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell, has been accepted for publication in the National College Poets Anthology, said Scott Alley, director of development and information services at ENMU-R. ,Mrs, Organ’s poem is called “Perpetuation.”Although she has been writing poetry for 10 years, this is the first competition Mrs. Organ has entered. She read about the National College Poetry Contest in the ENMU-R “Perspective.”the student newspaper.Dr. Val M. A 1972 graduate of Artesia High School, she is employed at St. Mary’s Hospital and lives at 7 Hunsicker Place. She and her husband Les have one boy, Cory Alyn. 28 months old.Seminar setEastern New Mexico University-RoswelPs Continuing Education Department will sponsor a seminar on amendments to the Social Security law Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Nursing Lab of the Academic Building on campus, said Dr. Robert Bell, dean of curriculum and student development at ENMU-R.Christine Graves of the Social Security Administration will explain recent legislation relating to Social Security and answer questions.There is nb charge for the seminar.♦%Schedules availableSpring semester schedules for day and evening classes at Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell are available at the Registrar’s Office in the Administration Building on campus, said Scott Alley, director of development and information services at ENMU-R.Registration will be Jan. 12-13 at the Student Union Building. .
