PUBLIC BIDDEN TO FESTIVALPageant And Cantata OnElaborate Program At CollegeA musical festival including a pageant and a cantata will be presented In Weber college auditorium Monday, December 17, at eight o’clock p. m, as a state FERA music and art project. The public is invited to attend and there will be no charge for admission.Governor Henry H. Blood and Mayor Harman W. Peery will deliver short talks. Mrs. Edna C. Ririe is supervisor, Clarence Lewis is conductor and David Romney, president of the Rotary elub, will be master of ceremonies. Mrs, a. R. Johnson is business manager. The*program follows:FERA trio, Jack Twitchell, Em Twltchell, and Milt Austin; violin solo, Otto Altmans; instrumental trio, Joe Eddy, Earl Eddy, and Earle Christenson; baritone solo, John Creamer; piano solo, Miss Arlene Blakeman; musical saw, James Sherman; eccentric dancing. Joe Blnckner; tenor solo, Clair Lewis; “Riders of the Purple Dawn”; cantata, “His Star,” Clair Lewis, conductor; Miss Arlene Blakeman, accompanist; Mr. Hinklin, reader.
