He had returned from Charleston on Saturday night after having been sentenced, by Federal Judge Geogre McCllntic to serve a term In prison on an indictment charging under the narcotic act. Returning home from Charleston he was noticed by friends to be in a meloneholy mood and his suicide is said to haoe occasioned but little surprise.Dr. Timlerlake was about sixtyyears of age and hail two sons. He was originally from Fayette county, having been a member ofthe countv court there for a num-%*l»er of years, and is well known here.
