Here from South AmericaAmong the pleasant social events of the week was a small party Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. F. B. Newell, 218 South Grove avenue, to meet Edgar Holmes of Colombia. South America. Mr. Holmes, who is a close friend of Mr. and Mrs. Newell,‘ fhas large 'business interests in South America and in the South Sea islands. In informal conversation he delighted the company with incidents and customs of life among the Spanish and mixed races, among whom lie has spent several years.
