Love Affair; Jail Next.La Crosse. Wis., Doe. 13.—William Luening, Jr., claiming to bo a sou ot William Luening. president oC# Lie La Crosse board of education, and grandson of John Gund, a brewer, has been sent to jail at San Bernardino. Cal., as the alleged result of a love affair. Luening. it is said, fell inlove with the ioyear-old daughter ot James Flood of that place, and Flood thwarted what he believed was an attempt, at elopement. Flood is said to have threatened Luening and the young man secured a revolver. He was arrsted on a charge of carrying concealed weapons and sent to jail at San Bernardino for a hundred days.
