Selma Stolberg of East Detroit acted a* hostesses Saturday night at the regular dance party composed of army and navy men and several WACS, at the Masonic Service Center.^here will he formal dances on Christmas vc and the Wednesday following and if attendance permits another formal dance will be given New Year’s Eve. Service men and women are asked to ma'tr reservations for New Year s Eve if possible.Christmas presents will be distributed to service men and women on Christmas Eve and ca-dottos will be recognized in appropriate manner. Service menmay have their Christmas package* wrapped free of charge am evening before Christmas.Mrs I ther M Whetzel. returned home from an official trip to Washington, in time for the Saturday D*mce party. She was in the capitol on Blue Star Mothers business. concerning aid* to returning soldiers, now' before Congress and in reference to Blue Star Mothers Charter Senate Bill St 269. now in theSenate Judiciary committee.Mr* Whetzel also had a 1 !S minute private interview with Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt.
