Next spring a public library building will be erected at a cost of one thousand dollars. The summer residents and natives are interested and some very liberal subscriptions have been already given toward the fund. It is intended to start in with a good library, free to all, and clear of debt. As Mr. Geo, I*. Cooksey and Mrs. Sarah C. Clement have given i the lot to the Seal Harbor Library as-sociation, all the money that has been or will be subscribed can be used for the building.
