Coal City.J. F. Hyatt and J. E. Roth are on a trading expedition in Illinois.Mrs. Dr. Hinkle went to TerreHaute to meet her brother who hasbeen for several years in ColoradoI and California.lt;j F. M. Tipton who has been down for several months with consumption died last Tuesday and was buried in the Neihart graveyard. The family have the sympathy of the community.Mr. W. O. Brotten is no longer i cl rking in the Davis Hochstetler 1 store. He has moved to a farm in | Clay county and will try farming next season.The new belfry on theU. B. church adds much to its appearance. Thework was done by Henry Miller andWm. Huffman.We understand that Coal City nowhas no empty houses and from the outlook there will be none for some time to come as the saw mill, factoryand coal shaft will be in active operation.
