Auto Stage Wrecked.H. D. Drew, owner of the Drew stage line operating between Vader and Chehalis, failed to make the turn at the overhead crossing near the Booth service station on the Vader-Ryderwood highway and went into the ditch Thursday evening with the big stage. Mr. Drew was returning from a basketball game with a load of boys. He was slightly cut by broken glass, but none of the boys were injured. The car was quite badly damaged, although not as badly as was at first feared,. This crossing is very dangerous and there have been many wrecks there. It is approached from both sides aroundsharp curves and from the east thereis a steep grade. Pillars in the middle of the narrow road support the railroad. This makes a very bad condition which the Vader Chamber of Commerce is trying to have changed.Saturday afternoon Mrs. Harold Burke ran into the bank at the same crossing. Neither she nor her small daughter riding with her was injured, but her coupe was quite badly damaged.
