COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS TREE COMAircibid;hiMITTEE WILL HOLD MEETING TOMORROWThe committee appointed by Exalted Ruler Abel to make arrangements for the Elks Community Christman tree will moot tomorrow when the plans for this big event will be talked over.There is no questinon but what the big event will be staged in the vicinity of the public library, about wliere it was last year. The program will consist of some speaking and Christmas carols will be sung by the crowd. There has been much said lately about holding the affair in the open air. This is due to the fact that a year ago it was a very cold night and many of the little ones were compelled to remain home, thus missing the big tree. The tree will be lighted on Christmas Eve and the program will -probably ^ not he over one hour in duration.The principal object of the community Christmas tree is to have all Christian people, irrespective of creed gather together and gut into the real childlike spirit of Christmas.While it. is given by the Elks the affair is a community one—for everybody, young and old.
