EAST HILLS MASTER CHORALE, an adult singing group, is being formed in Rowland Heights under the direction of John Catanzaro, director of choral music at Rowland High School and director of music at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church in Hacienda Heights. The new chorale will Sing music of varying styles with emphasis on large choral works with orchestra. In March the group will sing the Easter portion of Handel s Messiah.” and in May will give a concert of folk songs, spirituals and show tunes.
