Buck Johnson, senior from Muleshoe, was presented a certificate and a $100 scholarshipas winner of the senior leadership award of the Epsilon Phi chapter of Kappa Sigma fraternity at an annua] Founders Day dinner at the Caprock HotelMonday night.Bob Phillips, Dallas, won the award for the highest grades of the chapter, while Doug Hudson, Fort Worth, received the award for the most improved member.Don Ormand, Odessa sophomore, was announced as winner of the Lubbock Alumni chapter scholarship given to the pledgewith the highest grades.Other awards presented at the dinner included certificates of merit to Bill Jones, Littlefield; Glyn Morgan, Colorado City; and James L. Jones, Anton.Bruce Kattmann, president of the alumni chapter, presented the awards at the dinner, attended by approximately 85 active and alumni members. Gene Steel, Grand Master of the chapter, presided at the dinner.Piano selections were given by Shervando Trevino, 1955 graduate; and Bill Jones, active.
