Carl Weeks Awarded$100 On “Strike It Rich”Television ProgramCarl Weeks, a resident of the Dripping Roads community, has returned from New York, where he appeared on the Television and radio program, “Strike It Rich.” Mr. Weeks, who lost ?. hand in an accident in a Garden City heading mill, has appeared over local radio stations several times in the past. Tie wrote to the New York broadcasters, 'who invited him to come there and appear on the above orogram. He did not have the money to make the trip. Local friends bought him a round-trip ticket.Mr. Weeks expects to get more returns from the national broadcast later. Disabled, but able and willing to do house and yard jobs, he asks anyone having employment for him to call him at 1171.
