The president sletes that he enjoyed the. visit very much and the chief fairly went into ecstacies as he described the royal entertainment lie ^received. it maylbe a source ot surprise to many, .but nevertheless, the fact should be noted that the table manners of many of the •members of the Musquakle tribe of Indians is infinitely superior to those ot a large number of white men. Why would it not be a good plan for other of the leading citizens of Toledo and Tama to follow President Kephart's example and extend the hospitalities df their homes occasionally to the more progressive Indians of the county? .
