Allene School News.A11 * * 11 o. Dec. 7. (Special. I School is progressing nicely we have an enrollment of eighty pupils, and our last month average was !N per cent in attendance. The work has been excellent. for the past month in all grades.The school hoard visited school one day this week and gave good educational talks and advice for hoys and girls which was very beneficial to alt Mr. Dumas presented the school with a very line book, “The Lives of Lincoln, Garfield, and McKinley. which we are very thankful for. It helps to build our library.The following names were on the honor roll for last month: 10th grade, leader, Lillian Young, Eva Honnell. 8th grade, leader, Pauline Bowden; Gracie Gillihan. Coy iColthrop. Jean Bowden. 7th grade, leader Curtis Youngblood; Charles Scarborough, Winnie Edwards. 6th grade, leader. Lonnie Edwards; Murlie Gillihan. Mil ton Boyter. Christa Johnson. Dillard Scarborough, Lottie Scrivner The school will give a program on Saturday night before Christmas at the Baptist church followed by a Christmas tree for all the little folks.
