S. C. S. of the West Laurel Methodist church celebrated their Christmas party in the Fellowship hall of the church.Mrs. Otto Wansley, Sr., president was in the chair and welcomed visitors from the Sallie Ellis and Northside circles.Mrs. E. W. Scott gave the Christmas story, An Envelope Under the Door. Mrs. W. M Jones brought the devotional and the group enjoyed singing Christmas carols.A gaily decorated and lighted Christmas tree that bore gifts for everyone was the center of attention.A social period followed the meeting when cookies, sandwiches and punch were served.
