Something that shimmers and shines, sparkles under the candlelight or something that is slinky and daz- ' zling is high fashion this season.The new glitter knits are popular and the all-over se-quined fashions conie in white, black, gold and silver. They can hardly be matched for glamour but there’s no question of the impact of an all-white gown from head to toe —or the outright elegance of black crepe.Bed, the traditional Christmas color, will surely be seen this season because some women feel that Christmas would not be the. same without a red dress. 'Fashion is simple because the fabric steals the spotlightduring the holidays — cardigan jackets, over sleeveless shells, matched with long skirts or pants. And pants are terrific for evening in the soft, fluid style.
