Nick Furchner and wife arrived here Thanksgviing day from Hilger, Montana, and will spend two weeks or more visiting at the S. W. Edwards home. Mr. Furchner is a brother of Mrs. Edwards. Mr. Furchner is an old time printer, having worked on the Le-Mars papers some years ago.Henry Van der Ham. who has been working in this community all summer. will leave Saturday for his home at Platte. S. D.It was reported on the streets last ■ Friday that FarmerHerman Eilers had j quite or completely lost a finger by having It caught in the gearing of his Bull gasoline tractor. Lucky it wasn't as bad as that. He did get it caught in the belt wheel of that machine and cut it so badly that it was necessary for the doctor to take three stitches to cose the wound.
