The Sigma PhiEpsilons EntertainedThe hospitable home of hr.and Mrs. W. S. .Johnson on Ark-aaens Avenue last evening witnessed one of the prettiest andmost elaborate fraternity entertainments ever given in a privatthome in Fayetteville, the charming and cultured hostess entertaining in honor of the youngmen of the Sigma Bhi Kpsilnnfraternity and their friends'.The parlors of the home wentastefully decorated with cedarand hearts worked in cedar, emblematie of the fraternity design, -were especially in evidence.Brogrcasive five hundred wasplayed and after a merry luttUftclt;of wits and luck the first pri/.esj _ were won by Misses Sue Tidhalland Kthel Harper, who tied, andthe gentleman’s prize lv Mr. T.M, I Varson and the hoohy prizesby Miss Bertha Mickel and Mr. .1.I. .lanes. The first prize for ladies was a beautiful silk vanityhag and for gentlemen, sub-tantial silk tie; the “Boobies” beinga dainty lace handkerchief huladiet* and a tie holder for gentlemen. Between games delicioufruit punch was served and atthe conclusion of the contest icecream and cake.Those win* were so fortunaUas to enjoy the elegant hospitality of Hr. and Mrs. Johnson wertMisses Bertha Micke!.
