Wingard-SzulCynthia Rena Wingard became the bride of Stephen Michael Szul in a 3 p.m. double-ring ceremony Sept. 18, at the Alliance Church, Route 422 East, Kittanning, with the Rev. Ronald Llthgow officiating.The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rearick of Kittanning RD1. She graduated from Elderton High School in 1989 and from Robert Morris College In 1991. She is a radiologic technologist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Szul. He is a 1987 graduate of Burrell High School and a 1989 graduate ofPenn State in New Kensington.He is a biomedical equipment technician at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.The bride wore a white satin gown fashioned with a sabrina neckline and a fitted bodice adorned with lace, sequins and seed pearls. The gown had long tapered sleeves and featured afull skirt which fell from asque waistline into a semicathedral train enhanced by beaded lace motifs.For her headpiece she chose a fingertip length veil attached to a crown of silk flowers, iridescent sequins and seed pearls.The bride chose her sister, Hayley Wingard of Kittanning, as her maid of honor. Thebridesmaids were Sherri Rearick of Kittanning stepsister ofthe bride; Kendra Butts of Connellsvllle, friend of the bride; and Lisa Krause of Renfrew and Marilyn Szul of Lower Burrell, sisters of the bridegroom.The flower girl was Amanda Jack, cousin of the bride.The bridegroom chose his brother, John Szul, as his best man. The ushers were Joe Szul, brother of the bridegroom; Barry Krause, brother-in-law of the bridegroom; and Jeff Patter-Cynthia Rena and Stephen Michael Szulson and Mike McClure, friends of the bridegroom.Following a reception at the VFW Post 92 in Lower Burrell and a wedding trip to Sanibel Island, Fla., the couple is at home in New Kensington.Bonello-Cousins
