Tissue, program chairman, introduced Rev. and Mrs. Lon T. Marks of the Mount Hope Baptist Temple, who presented a program of ‘ ‘ChristmasMessage and Song.”As Mrs. Marks presented a reading depicting an old barn viewed on their recent visit to Illinois, she played recorded selections relating to another barn in Bethleham.The recordings were sung by their daughter, Mrs. Leonard Heldreth, of Champaign, HI., and were entitled “The Blessed Bird” by Lee Hastings Bristol Jr.; “The Carol of the Birds” by John Jacob Niles, and “The Friendly Beasts,” an old English Carol. Mrs. Marks closed With a poem, “Prayer of the Lamb.” Rev. Marks, as Mrs. Marks gave her reading and recordings, sketched the bam on his easel. In closing he gave a Christmas message.the ad to be in the spring issue of the West Virginia Clubwoman Magazine will be a page on “Selling Fayette County.1’ The league did this in cooperation with other local organizations.Hostesses were Mrs. Albert Booth, Mrs. Joe Vallina, Mrs. Fred Ryan, Mrs. James Rutherford, Mrs. George Arthur and Mrs. William Ramey Jr., who served refreshments.Attending were Mrs. R.
