Her mind isn’t on Robert’s Rules of Order, however, it's on partying — as evidenced by her holi-• day frock of black velvet with lots of ruffles. She was Mistress of Ceremonies for the evening.Fashion ShowThey may be short on members but they're long on energy and the Junior Woman’s Club ~ one of the smaller women’s organizations in Fort Pierce — put on a fashion show Wednesday night to prove it — that is, to prove the part about haying lots of energy.These gals really have it. There was high style by Flour De Lis and lots of dash and class by the Juniors.From the bedroom to the ballroom — or vice versa — there were gowns and capes and beads and furs and lots and lots of elegant swish, And there were dresses for the office, pant suits for sporty gals, pajamas for hostesses and suits for clubwomen.■Ramie Ingram, all deeked out in green (from Fleur De Li?. of course) coordinated the fashions and Claire Pottorff, News Tribune staff writer, commented on them. And .for variety I here was dark - eyed Indian River. Junior College coed, Marguerite Castellan. She entertained with songs from The Sounds of Music and The Flower Drum Song. Her accompanist was Birdie Pettingill, another IRJC girl, —To-round out the musical program there was organist Joe Turner with girl - watching - clothes - watching tunes.It was a good show. There were prizes for the luciv and sweets for the hungry, and there was a lot of satisfaction for the Juniors.They'll be able to continue their support of the Civitan Training Center, this year’s club project. The girls provided year-round holiday parties and outings for these handicapped youngsters. And there will be money for another nursing scholarship to a deserving IRJC student, and there are three little kids at the Sunland Training Center in Fort Myers who have been adopted by. the Fort Pierce Juniors.
