THE JAPANESE PLAY. TThe first presentation in Boston of IC] Japanese drama by a company of gen- I n nine Japanese actors, who come direct , from their own theatre in the flowery kingdom, will be made at the Tremont I Theatre this afternoon. Two pieces. Ie “Zingoro,” a one-act comedy, and “Geisha p to 0omaray,” a three-act tragedy, will t constitute the bill, and the performance t promises to be unique as a novelty and interesting as an evidence of just how* J far the Japanese nation has progressed in dramatic art in comparison with our s accepted standard.
