RAILWAY PROMOTERS EXPLAIN.Messrs Leigh and MaggI MakeStatements in Regard to a Publication.Several days ago a Prescott, Arizona, paper published an article reflecting on Messrs. Leigh and Maggi for certain alleged transactions during their sojourn in Prescott.In regard to the article both gentlemen say that it was inspired by malice and if the newspaper plant was of anyintrinsic value they would resort to alibel suit for damages. They were seen this morning at their boarding house on Myrtle street.Mr. Maggi says that the publicationwas the outcome of a transaction at IPrescott wherein Messrs. Leigh andHelzard bonded the Little Jessie mine. That was before he became acquainted with Leigh- Maggi built a railroadnear Prescott and resided there eightmonths. *To a Herald reporter he exhibited his credentials and a vast number of other letters and newspaper clippings.
