Miss Julia Wolff Begins 106th YearA quiet, small woman, Miss Julia Wolff, celebrated her 105th birthday with a birthday party given in her honor at Graneare Nursing Home, Friday.She was born In Fond du Lae in 1866 to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wolff. Her parents originated from Luxembourg and Bavaria and settled in Fond du Lae. Miss Wolff is the oldest resident of Gran-care and the last surviving member of a family of 10children.At the turn of the century she was employed b y Marshall-Fields in Chicago. Before the Depression, Miss Wolff was associated with her sister, Anna, in the millinery business in Fond du Lac.Miss Wolff entered Gran-care Nursing Home in August. Prior to that she lived with her nephew, Henry Rueping, 135 Sheboygan St., for eight years.Miss Wolff, an alert and religious person, is a member of the Congregational Church.Miss Barbara NettWeds Kieth BerchemMrs. Allen Heus, Maiytown, was her sister's matron of honor.
