O’Neil company were seated at the Mansfield - Leland hotel Friday night.The occasion, a pre-Christmas dinner party and gift exchange, held in the ballroom, was so successful that the group voted to organize for regular social activity.Mrs. Marjorie Brook, w h o acted as toastmistress, called for names from the floor to perfectI the Organization.i Named on the committee j were Mrs. Edna Bullock, M r s. i Pat Myers, Mrs. Kathryn Hoff-i man, Mrs. Eva Bennock, M r s.| Jane Confer and Mrs. ' Daisy Keyse.Place cards at the table were | tied with evergreen and red ribbon. Favors were snowy reindeerwith red packs filled with nuts. Perfume vials were also at each place.Following dinner, Mrs. Irene Ritter presided as program chairman, for an “all for fun” holiday program. The traditional “Night Befox'e Christmas” poem was given in two versions by Mrs. Ritter and Mrs. Dorothy | Williams. Nancy and Carol Bul-; lock sang “Lane County Bache-j lor.” with Mrs. Lucille Williams ;at the piano. Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Brook were accompanists for the program.A take-off on movie and radio personalities were presented by Mrs. Joan Bechtle, Mrs. Jane Confer. Miss Jane Gibbs and Miss Peggy Brook. Mrs. Lucille Williams gave a comedy dance and another novelty was presented by Mrs. Bullock and Mrs. Ritter. The latter also read an ori-i ginal poem that introduced many i of the store associates. As a cli-| max to the entertainment a style [show harking back to the 1920’s was presented under the direction of Mrs. Pat Myers. Participating were Mrs. Mildred Matthias, Mrs. Martha Hall, Miss Jane Gibbs, and Mrs. Betty Bowie.Mrs. Ruth Homerick assisted by Carol Bullock distributed the exchange gifts.The affair was planned by a committee headed by Mrs. My-et:nEAEa
