“Lviugston County took a prominent part in the new state sapifol dedication services, fc't.'.des being repr.-ented by a county oueen, in the cor* son of Angela Rui, p, who represented Livingston County in the festivities, a beautiful float was entered as this county's offering in the big parade. Prof. J. A. Wisdom, instructor in vocational agriculture at the Ohillicothe High School. Mrs. Wisdom and Ordell Williams, a high school student had charge of the Livingston County float. The exhibit was purely agricultural and was made up of products which had been sent to Jefferson City for this oeca-3ioh. The outstanding feature of the float was a beautifully decorated throne upon wheli was seated Ceres, the Goddess of the Golden Harvest, with agricultural products from that county. The decorations also included large placards calling attention to the fine schools, churches, farm bureaus, and other civic organizations of the county.”The Livingston county float is the only one receiving special mention in the Democrat Tribune.
