Hearst yeeterday notified the city authorities through Mayor Frinke that she would turn over the Hearst free library, with everything it contains, to the city of Anaconda upon the condition that the city maintain it as a free library for the benefit of its citizens. The offer was made by James C. Hooeof Washington, I). C.. in the name of -Mrs. Hearst in a letter addressed to the mayor and the city council of the cityof Anaconda.
