Mrs. Caroline Boor celebrated her ninetieth birthday Nov. 16th and helped to wash the dishes after the feast was over. She is in good health and one of the most notable women in the county She raised six boys and five girls. Her sons and son-in-laws are all Republicans. She has 65 grandchildren and 38 great-grand-children. Twelve of her grand-children were present at the celebration.Mr. and Mrs John W Ball of Defiance, and Mrs. Ida Ball spent Thanksgiving with Mr and Mrs. John Krontz.Mr. and Mrs. Wm Krontz of Florida, visited John Krontz last week.Mrs. A. Haran e ’-Smith, Saturday evening Nov. 26 that being the 39th anniversary of bis birth. There were ninty-five guests present to break bread with the genial host and help devour the bountiful supply of oysters he had provided. Dancing was the order of the evening. Though a Democrat, Mr. Hammersmith is a faithful reader of the Republican Express He received many presents of his friends. It was a grand party and will long be remembered by those who were present.H. W.
