Flan Nursery School Opening Here Sept. 9On Sept, 9 the Ebenezer Day Nursery, an undenominational, non-profit organization, will open its facilities to provide preschool day care for all children between ages three and six, regardless of race, creed or color. The nursery will operate Mondays through Fridays from 6 a.m, until • p.m.Enrolled children will receive educational, social and physical training. Nutritious meals will be Served also.A board of directors has been established to serve in an advisory capacity, with the following officers: Mrs. Fred Martin Jr., pres-Couples Club Of Trinity Church Has First MeetA Couples Cub of Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Bardsar Rd., was formally organized recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sessler* Rt. 2 Sandusky. Other board members include: Mrs. Byron Aldrich, Mrs. John Augustus, Mrs. Earl Dale, Mrs. Mildred Eskridge, Mrs. Charles Goldfarb, Mrs. William Hanson, Mrs. James Jackson, Mrs. Edward Krebs, Mrs. Charles McMurray, Miss Louise Rose-mond, Mrs. James Sea vers, Mrs. Joseph Smith, Mrs. Leland Spore, Miss Hazel Stockdale, Mrs. Leon Troy, Mrs, Robert Wilson, Mrs. Frank Windrey and Mrs. D. G, Van Horn.The nursery staff will include three teachers: Mrs. Starling Cole-man, Mrs. Alton Loar and Miss Willie Webster; a nurse, Mrs. Burnell Stovall and a cook, Mrs. Thurston Hicks. Volunteering their services to the nursery for the initial year will be Mrs. William Derrick, administrative director. Dr, H. G. Lehrer and Dr. William Wynn are jto serve as pediatrician and dentist, respectively.Those desiring immediate enrollment should apply at the nursery office located at 908 S. Depot St. between the hours of 1 and 5 p.m. Applications and the applicant’s deposit should be returned to the nursery no later than Sept. 5. Information may be obtained bycalling £25-2214 between 1 and 5 p.m.
