YELTON FAMILY' REUNION.The third annual reunion of the Yelton family was held Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Clark, south of Franklin. Under the large canopy tent belonging to the Second Mt. Pleasant Church, a long table was spread and the relatives enjoyed an elaborate dinner. In the afternoon a business session was held, John Clark preciding. Officers for the coming year were elected as follows: President, Mrs. Clark; vice-president, Ed Bryan, of Seymour; historian, Mrs. Squire Parker, near Shelbyville, and secretary and treasurer, Miss Rita Yelto-.i, of Johnson county. A committee was appointed to select the time and place of the next meeting.-A short Riley program was rendered in charge of Mrs. Squire Parker. One of the most interesting features of the day was the singing of the family song, which had been written by Mrs. Clark. Printed slips bearing the words were distributed and the relatives heartily entered into the sentiment it conveyed. Shelby county persons at the reunion were Hampton Yelton and family, Squire Parker and family, Walter Persinger and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Gray and Raymond Howard and family.
