The Big Run Threshng club enjoyed a feast at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Campbell, southwest of the city, Tues* day night when they met to settle up the club’s business.. Between seventy-five and eighty guests were in attendance. The club had nearly 8,000 bushels of grain, Doc Barnes having the largest single threshing. Mr. Barnes had 1,230 bushels of oats and svheat Philip Michael, who had the contract for doing the threshing, was engaged again for next year. Officers were elected as follows: President, Charles Templin; secretary and treasurer, Calvin Curtis; committee, Chas. Carroll and Fred Campbell.
