MEYER - STUVA REUNIONIS HELD AT LEWISThe annual Meyer - Stuva reunion was held Sunday, Aug. 18, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Meyer in Lewis.Twenty-eight members were present. They were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kaufmann and Janice Ann, Mr. and Mrs. Lewie Kaufmann and Joni, Mr. and Mrs .Virgil Meyer, Chris, Craig and Dick, Mrs. Elizabeth Hebing Mrs. Leonard Falk, Kevin and Myron.Also, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meyer, Gene and Jon, Albert Stuva, Mrs. Hattie Moyer, Mrs. Mary Stuva. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Stuva and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson.Jon Meyer, 5. was the youngest present and Mary Stuva, 90 years young, was the oldest present. Births in the family were .Ton Dean, son of the Marion Kaufmann’s; Janet Sue. daughter of the Bernard Baudler’s, and Lou Kay. daughter of the Pete Thompson’s, all of Fontanelle.Deaths in the family included Michael Eugene Stuva, 11 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stuva of Greelev. Colo. Weddings in the family were Ronald Hebing and Joan Braden of Oakland on 'July 12.Virgil Meyers took movie camera pictures of the group. The reunion will be held at Cold Springs State Park at Lewis in August, 1964.
